Note that all three stands have the famous Tolles nosepiece fine focus. The Dalton stand has a rack and pinion substage but only a plain stage. The diameter of the main optical tube is the same as Tolles' student, not the larger diameter of the B stand. It is clear that this was an upgrade of Tolles Student Model, not a modification of the larger, heavier and more deluxe B stand.
