ACCESSORIES SUPPLIED WITH THE ROSS EXHIBITION MICROSCOPE

Ross Microscope with Accessories

Welcome to the Ross Exhibition Microscope accessory page. This page features the accessories that came with my example of this microscope. Although these are numerous, many others were available as is evidenced by the many empty fittings in the accessory case. Those present include an assortment of eyepieces and objectives, polarization apparatus, accessories for concentrating and varying illumination, and for holding or restraining specimens. There is a also a drawtube for monocular viewing and a drawing aid in the form of a camera lucida.

Ross Microscope Oculars The eyepieces, or oculars include pairs labelled A, B, and C and a single high power labelled D and signed Kellner's orthoscopic Ross London. There is also a pinhole eyepiece accessory (without optics inside) which has an adapter to fit over the eyepieces in place of the standard eyepiece cover.
