The fitted case has provisions to hold the objective cases and one of the two eyepieces, the other stored on the microscope. A small drawer for holding slides is present. Green felt lines the parts in contact with the microscope on the bottom. The red arrow points to a part of the door where it is clear that the door was improperly assembled for reassembled.
