BULLOCH STUDENT MICROSCOPE DOVETAIL SLOT

A dovetail is machined into the underside of the stage of the Bulloch New Student Microscope, presumably to accept accessories such as an aperture stop. etc. This is the only Bulloch example I have seen with such a groove and no accessories that fit this groove came with the microscope.
