BULLOCH BIOLOGICAL NO 2. MODEL

I am grateful to the the owner of this microscope to allow me to photograph it and display images here. This Biological No. 2 Model is unusual in that it has a very large fine focus knob, not seen on any other surviving Bulloch stand to my knowledge. It has the older version of mechanical stage which has concentric but horizontally projecting controls that can rotate, but complete rotation is limited by the protruding controls. The signature on the flat tripod foot gives prominance to the patent date, followed by the maker's name, but the serial number is on the bottom of the foot.
