The engraving below is nearly identical to this microscope; the only significant difference is the presence of the optional and very uncommon two speed fine adjustment (Males-Watson) to the optical tube not found on my example. Both have substage fine adjustment and all the other major features in common. My example has knurled knobs to control the slide bar, whereas the engraving shows tiny ovoid knobs.
