DESCRIPTION:
This is a small microscope designed for viewing small opaque objects. It is essentially a drum or Martin-type microscope of the simplest form. Focusing is by push-pull. There is no case.
HISTORY OF THIS MICROSCOPE
The late 19th century provided a seemingly endless variety of simple small microscopes. This is a relatively uncommon form. So far I have no reference to it in the literature.
