BULLOCH BIOLOGICAL No 2 COMPARED TO THE PROFESSIONAL No 2 MICROSCOPE

This image shows the engravings, to the same scale of the pertinent parts of the Bulloch Biological No 2, compared to the Professional No. 2. Note that the microscopes are exactly the same, including pillar height, except for slight differences in the length of the optical tube, and a slightly longer limb to accomodate it. The notion that the much larger early 'Professional' model of circa 1880 is just another 'Professional No 2' is really untenable as it is a much larger stand and equal in size to the later 2-pillared version of the 'Professional' as also shown below.
